NEW YORK, N.Y. (January 28, 2008) – New York City based G. JEZARIAN Fine Jewelry has signed on as an associate sponsor of the F2000 Championship Series for the upcoming 2008 season.

Joining the highly competitive junior open-wheel championship, Company owner Gregory Jezarian will provide awards at season’s end to both the series champion and the champion of the newly created Masters Cup, which consists of entrants the age of 40 or over. Additionally, Jezarian will be on hand at each race to personally present the G. JEZARIAN PassMaster Award to the driver who gains the most positions during the race weekend. Jezarian, himself a Formula Atlantic club racer, is excited to be on board with the F2000 Championship Series for 2008.

“I’m fortunate to have a strong following of ChampCar and IRL drivers and teams as clients,” said Jezarian. “I’m confident in a short time many of the F2000 drivers will be joining their ranks too. Having witnessed pro-F2000 racing first hand, I believe the series has the most talented and dedicated race drivers in the country. It’s an honor to have G. JEZARIAN Fine Jewelry associated with a series of this stature. These drivers are the future of open-wheel racing in America.”

The 2008 F2000 Championship Series season commences, April 19-20, with Rounds One and Two taking place at Virginia International Raceway.
