Millville, NJ – Formula 2000 Championship Series sponsor, Gregory Jezarian, was on hand this weekend at the series finale at the newly opened roadcourse, New Jersey Motorsports Park. At the conclusion of Sunday’s race, Greisiger Motorsports owner, Kurt Greisiger, offered Jezarian the Triad Magnetics Van Diemen Zetec F2000 car for the remaining part of the 2008 season. Kurt adds: “I’m glad to have Greg on board to help us get the exposure we need for the remainder of the SCCA season. We’ll have the car delivered to his shop this evening and let him prep it from there. His first event will be next weekend at the NARRC Runoffs at Lime Rock Park.”

Jezarian will enter the car in SCCA’s Formula Continental class for the event. The Greisiger Motorsports F2000 car is powered by a 2.0l Ford Zetec engine and the car will be run in pro-series trim with 6″ & 8″ front and rear tires, respectively. “I’ve driven FC cars before, while it looks similar to our Atlantic car, we’ve got a lot less tire, a lot less brake and downforce to help us out. It’s a true driver’s machine and I’m looking forward to this weekend with the Greisiger Team.”

Come watch the G. Jezarian Racing team at Lime Rock Park on September 26-27. Lime Rock is a short 90mi from NYC in beautiful Lakeville, CT. The track’s website is: http://www.limerock.com/
